In our continued search for the best cookware brands, sets, and kitchen tools, I came across the Belgique cookware brand, known for its sturdy, quality pots and pans. This brand is one of the private labels produced under Macy’s. Knowing both of these factors, I was compelled to look in more detail at the company and its offerings. If you are in the market for new pots and pans, then you should consider Belgique. The brand offers a variety of quality cookware to choose from, depending on your needs and cooking preferences. This article has compiled information about the company, multiple of our Belgique cookware reviews, and many frequently asked questions for you to review.

History of Belgique Cookware

Belgique is designed by and created to be Macy’s exclusive cookware line. Like most stores, Macy’s has a few private labels created for them to directly compete with other brands, such as Belgique with other cookware brands like Anolon and Farberware.

For over 30 years, Macy’s has sold Belgique exclusively in their stores across the United States. Belgique cookware is known for pots and pans that are quick to heat, versatile to use, and durable. And to this day, their reputation has continued, but now they are sold in both Macy’s and by sellers on Amazon. One major bonus to being a Macy’s brand is that their reliable customer service also supports the cookware if you need them for warranty claims.

Belgique Dutch Oven Copper Translucent Review

Description

Pros

  • Dishwasher safe
  • It looks small but holds a large amount
  • Oven safe up to 350 Fahrenheit
  • Effective heat conductivity
  • Versatile

Cons

  • No copper benefits -the exterior is just copper tone
  • The lid is only oven safe up to 300 Fahrenheit

Overall Belgique Copper Translucent 7.5-quart Dutch Oven Review

A beautiful 7.5 quart aluminum Dutch Oven with a warm copper tone exterior. It is designed with Belgique’s standard bell shape, large riveted handles, and a non-stick cooking surface.

This Dutch Oven is designed to bring together modern conveniences with a classic copper look. My only disappointment with the Copper Translucent Dutch Oven is that there are no added copper benefits because it is just a copper color rather than a copper pot. (If you are looking for copperware, then you should check out our Best Copper Cookware Reviews.)  However, its bell-shaped aluminum body delivers quick, even heating with efficient heat and moisture circulation. It also features large, angled handles, a tempered glass lid, and a non-stick interior. And with its 7.5-quart capacity, there is plenty of space for roasting, baking, simmering, or whatever you are cooking.
